It's Dominique (Dom) ... a little about myself! I'm 28 and originally from the city of where angels come from (Los Angeles) born and raised. Seven years ago my mom got remarried and we relocated to Tacoma, WA after my junior year of college at Xavier University of Louisiana where I received my B.S in Psychology. When I got hired to be a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, I made my big move to Seattle and have been in love with this city for about 4 years now.

I love to travel and promised myself every year for my birthday I'd go somewhere I'd never been!  I graduated in December 2018 with my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, in addition to that I'm in the process of  moving to Syracuse NY this summer to start my Ph.D in Marriage and Family Therapy at Syracuse University on a full ride scholarship and a graduate assistantship to help with the cost of living!

 I started my blog about 4 years ago but now it has a NEW look. So here we are with a new page, new beginnings and you getting a sneak peak into my journey of navigating my womanhood as a young BLACK female professional with a love for all things beautiful and a passion that runs deep for wanting to make a difference in the Black community in regards to raising awareness about mental health! So enjoy my blog and I hope it inspires you to never give up and to put your best foot forward...Always!
